We have been using Mars services for over two years now and they have provided us with quality services in both our HVAC and plumbing needs. After having gone through two conventional tank water heaters in less than 20 years in our new house we converted to a “tankless” heater. We had it installed by a plumber we knew with no problems, however, when it soon had an issue he could not correct. We had Mars come in and they contacted the manufacturer’s engineers and discovered it had a faulty gas valve (which was quickly sent with no charge), and had it replaced and working properly again. They also did a great job installing our new Duncan furnace this winter (2023). We have also had them replace kitchen and bath Delta fixtures in our home after they also made all the contacts and placed the orders with the Delta manufacturers in order to have them send the replacements according to their “free lifetime replacement” policy. Having made many calls to their office over these past two years the ladies in their office have always been wonderful to talk to and made arrangements to get service to us for all our needs as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend their company for any HVAC or plumbing needs.

A whole house repiping installation can take anywhere from a few days up to a week. Smaller homes can be repiped in as little as two days, while larger homes with multiple bathrooms can take much longer. However, it’s important to note that you won’t necessarily be unable to use your plumbing during that entire time.
How long repiping installation will take depends on the number of people working on the project, the size of your home, and the condition of your pipes. Repiping usually takes two days to a week to complete. Your plumber at Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic will be able to tell you how long the installation will take, when your water will be shut off, and any other details you need to know regarding your repiping installation.
Repiping is replacing the pipe lines that supply water to your home. Repiping is a large construction project that involves installing all new pipes throughout the various rooms in your house. During a repiping installation, Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic may advise that your family stay with relatives or at a hotel while the repiping installation is happening.
A repipe for a slab home costs more than a home with a raised foundation because a raised foundation has access to a crawl space. Access to a crawl space makes installing repiping in your home much easier. Slab foundation homes often require creating more holes in your walls to run the new piping. This process costs more because it requires more labor from your certified plumber at Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic.
You should repipe your house because pipes can rust over time and the rust will break off into your home’s water supply (your tap water will appear a reddish or brown color). In this case, you should have Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic repipe your house because this water color is an indication of old pipes which can eventually lead to leaks, unhealthy water quality, and more.
When the water in your home begins to have an unfamiliar, poor taste and smell, typically of metallic flavor, your pipes are likely beginning to deteriorate and it’s time to consider replacing them all together. Besides it being an inconvenience, it’s a sure-fire sign that your water pipes are suffering and need to be replaced.
Banging and creaking noises from your water pipes are also a pretty clear indication that your water pipes are beginning to fail. As your water pipes age, they will begin to fail naturally, and loud noises that did not used to occur are a good way to gauge that it is time to call Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic for Professional Repiping Installation Services.
Have you noticed a difficulty trying to find a comfortable temperature when turning on your sink or shower? Oftentimes when pipes are beginning to fail, they will cause the water from your pipes to your faucets to not adjust to your indicated desired temperature correctly. If you’ve noticed the temperature of your water suddenly change, consider repiping services from Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic.
If you suspect that your water pipes may be needing replacement, perform a visual inspection on them and look for any rusting and corrosion. If your pipes are visibly rusting and corroding, this is at the minimum, a sign of age, and at most, a sign that your pipes will need to be repiped by the plumbing experts at Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic.
Your pipes can begin to leak due to a number of reasons. If the leak is only in one particular area, the issue is likely just with that particular part or area of your pipe. If your pipes are leaking from many different areas, your pipes are beginning to fail and will need to be addressed and replaced by professionals at Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic right away.
One of the biggest red flags in terms of the health of your water pipes is if your water is coming out of your faucets discolored. If the water from your sinks and showers is reddish in hue, this is likely to corrosion. Discolored water can also come in tints of black, brown, and yellow as well. No matter the case, water discoloration of any color is usually a direct result of failing water pipes and calls for total repiping from the pros at Mars Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Sewer & Septic.
Another clear symptom of expired water pipes is inconsistent water pressure. If the water pressure from your faucet or shower begins to decrease over the time in which you are using it, this is usually due to issues with your water pipes.
